Our Methodologies

Specialized phonics classes for dyslexic students focus on reading, memory, and communication using a multisensory approach.

  • Many of my students with autism have bursts of energy but struggle with endurance, so we need fast-paced lessons (3-5 days per week). Non-native English-speaking children typically take 3-6 months to learn basic phonics, 4-12 months for intermediate, and 4-12 months for advanced phonics. Native English-speaking children can complete this process in less than half the time and start applying it to reading.

    Parents attending lessons accelerate progress by acting as “translators” and continuing support at home. Learning 3-5 days a week, native English-speaking children can learn regular phonics in 2-4 months and partial irregular phonics in 3-6 months. With parental support, their learning becomes even more efficient.
