At the age of two, toddlers have the most abundant neural synapses in their brains, which is a critical period for brain development.
Apart from sleep and nutrition, learning through companionship, stimulation, and play can greatly promote intelligence, cognition, and motor skills development. Research indicates that the brain has distinct pathways for processing different languages. When processing English, the Broca's area in the frontal lobe receives information from the posterior part of the left temporal cortex. When processing Chinese, it receives information from the anterior parts of both left and right temporal lobes. Therefore, bilingual babies tend to have higher cognitive abilities, memory, multitasking skills, and attention span.
Each class lasts for 30 minutes, during which the babies learn to speak, sing, dance, engage in stress-free character recognition, listen to stories, and play games with their classmates and parents.
